Pray

We all know that communication is a key component to any healthy relationship. That’s what prayer is — having a conversation with God. God cares about us and wants us to share our heart with him. It doesn’t have to be anything formal; it can happen anywhere, anytime. Driving home from work. Doing the dishes. Lying in bed at night. He’s always available and always eager to talk.

Get a Bible

The Bible is the word of God. Every page is filled with encouragement and instruction for our own lives. The words within the Bible give life to our heart, mind, body, and spirit. Romans 10:17 says that “Faith comes through hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ.” The Bible grows our faith. Find a
Local Church

In our journey with Jesus, it's essential to discover a community of fellow believers. The church serves as a place where we can come together to pray, worship, and grow as a united group. God has designed us to navigate life with the support and encouragement of like-minded individuals. The process of finding a church may seem intimidating or overwhelming, and it can take some time. To begin, you can start with a simple Google search to locate churches in your vicinity. Most churches have websites that outline their fundamental beliefs in their mission statements. Additionally, many churches offer small groups that meet regularly, providing an opportunity to establish friendships and connect with people on a more personal level. Will you follow Jesus right now?

Here is how…

  • Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)

  • Be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask for God's forgiveness.

  • Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.

  • Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit.

We suggest a prayer like this one:

"Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus' Name, amen."
