There are powerful verses in the Bible that tell us, “What great love the Father has lavished on us.” God’s love isn’t small or distant; it’s abundant, generous, and life-changing. To “lavish” means to give freely and extravagantly—and that’s exactly how God loves us. His love isn’t passive; it’s undeniable, gentle, fierce, sacrificial, and transformative. It’s the kind of love that can change your life completely.

One of the most well-known verses in the Bible, John 3:16, says, It tells us this “For God SO loved the world that He gave is one and only son (Jesus). That whoever would believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life”

Imagine this: God, knowing some would mock and reject Him, still chose to give up His Son, Jesus, so that we could find forgiveness and eternal life with Him. Through Jesus' sacrifice—His death and resurrection—God opened the door for us to experience new hope, true forgiveness, and the promise of eternity in heaven.
